Get-Together at Henry’s/Durbin’s

Looks like we’ve gotten off to a rough start; there wasn’t much of a turn out.

Ray Piccione and I were late and when we arrived it appeared that no one else was there. Ray and I never need much of an excuse to get together anyway so we thought ‘what the hell’ we’ll have a beer and watch the Cubs game. When we turned around who walks in but Gina Beck (Marrera) and Sharon Valasek (Loch). So we found a table, ordered a round and began catching up.

About a half an hour later Sharon heard her phone and found that Kevin Dahill had sent an email asking ‘where the hell was everyone.’ To our surprise he was there the whole time, only sitting on the other side of the bar having dinner with his wife Donna.

Then later, Kevin checked his email to find that Sue Buss (Barnard) and been there on time, found no one there and left. I am so sorry Sue. I think next time we do this I’ll give everyone my cell number (not to mention be on time!)

So, if you think I’m going to tell you what I learned and what Gina, Sharon, Ray, Kevin and myself are up to...you’re wrong! You’ll just have to make sure you show up next time and find out for yourself.

It really was a lot of fun! I hope you can join us next time.
